One of the most common questions we must answer is related to the economic needs during the French module. The list below helps to understand that the cost is not bigger than other cities in Spain:

  • Cost of university residence: 360 - 600 €/month
  • University menu: only 3,25 €
  • Urban trips:
    • T+ Ticket: 1 ticket = 1,80€, 10 tickets = 14,10€

    • Passe Navigo: The Passe Navigo is the travel card used by the inhabitants of Paris and the cheapest way of getting around Paris. Travelers can either purchase a Weekly pass or a Monthly pass. Passe Navigo (Weekly) = 21,25 €, (Monthly)=70€
    • Velib bikes: Bike sharing. Vélib’ Passion 16-25 years old young people in socio-professional insertion, only 19€ per year.
    • Many university residences are near to the Faculty and you could take a walk.

As student you can get some incomes:
  • Aid for accomodation: APL (Aide Personnalisée au Logement), About 120 - 210 €/month. More information in Spanish (Link 1, Link 2)
  • Erasmus grant (studies): 300 €/month (while you are in France)
  • Erasmus grant (internships): 400€/month (only if you do your internship abroad and for 3 months)
  • Grant from Spanish Government: near 3000 € (only for the three best academic CV). Available next course 2017-18

Really Paris is not so expensive as you could think.
